Our History
Third Generation Carter Foundation (TGCF) was established to responsibly support individuals and communities with demonstrated need. Specifically, those with shared values that align with the values that were instilled in us by our father and grandfather. Of those values - Family, Hard Work, Integrity, Self-sufficiency, and Resilience, are central to each of us. TGCF is wholeheartedly dedicated and intentional about our commitment to supporting, engaging, and inspiring self-sufficiency – particularly in those individuals from rural, underserved, minority and marginalized communities. We do not feel that talented, proactive, resilient, and tenacious individuals possessing the ability and the desire should be limited by something as soulless as money.
Our Mission
To support, engage, and inspire those from rural, underserved, minority and marginalized communities. Placing an intentional emphasis on community engagement, education, and sustainable skills that promote as well as foster self-sufficiency.
